i love words

I have to say I really enjoy Christmas carols. And lately We Three Kings has really struck me. There is so much power in this song I feel. I wish we sang all of these verses because it goes beyond just Jesus' birth. Just look: (yay!)
verses
We three kings of orient are, bearing gifts we traverse afar.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain, following yonder star.

Born a king on Bethlehem's plain, gold I bring to crown him again,
King forever, ceasing never, over us all to reign.

Frankincense to offer have I, incense owns a Diety nigh,
Prayer and praising, all men raising, worship him God on high.

Myrhh is mine it's bitter perfume, breathes a life of gathering gloom:
Sorrowing sighing, bleeding dying, sealed in a stone cold tomb.

Glorious now behold Him arise, King and God and Sacrifice;
Alleluia, Alleluia, sounds through the eath and skies.

chorus:
O star of wonder, star of night, star with royal beauty bright, westward leading, still proceeding, Guide us to Thy perfect light.

There's power in a lot of the old traditional carols. Last year I sang through all the Christmas carols in the Mennonite Hymnal, trying to sing them as if I'd never heard the words before. They're beautiful songs with meaningful words that get lost when we get so used to hearing them over shopping mall loudspeakers and T.V specials.

I don't really know any of you (except Mellary) but does the word Hea-vnborn bug anyone else? As in "Hail the hea-vnborn Prince Of Peace..." Why do they have to say it like that? Anyway, sorry to totally ruin your nice little community.
